I booked months ahead because I was traveling with my family, but on the day we were due to check in, the front desk called to say the hotel was overbooked and had no room for us. Being told I could get a refund through the booking app didn’t undo the disruption to our travel plans before they had even begun. That kind of mismanagement is unacceptable, and I’d strongly advise others to avoid the hotel, even if it looks like the only available option. If I could give zero stars, I would.

We’d already booked, then were told on the spot there was no room. They didn’t respond when we asked for a refund either. Stay at this kind of hotel at your own risk. I’d ban all OYO hotels!

We had to change rooms three times because of air conditioning trouble and a leak when it rained. Why was there a tax fee when I’d already paid the full amount online in advance?

The reception staff were friendly and helpful, and the price was reasonable. The location was convenient for some nice cafes and the Store. The room was decent, though the shower pressure was weak. We didn’t get clean towels at check-in, and they weren’t available until evening. When we asked then, we were given disposable towels instead.

The room is very big, but be careful if yours is near reception. The night shift receptionists talked loudly and played videos at high volume until 2am, apparently forgetting that the rooms and surrounding area aren’t soundproof.
