Sun Inns Hotel Sitiawan

The shower pressure was low, and the room itself was old. There was a dried blood stain on the bedsheet and it made me itchy. Luckily, I’d brought a spare disposable sheet.

The reception staff were accommodating, and the desk is staffed 24 hours. Everything else was fine, though having to deal with the key deposit was inconvenient. For this price, something has to give. The sheets weren’t perfectly white, maybe the hotel could try bleach.

The pool was green, closed, and had a horrible smell. We’d called first and been told it was repaired, but it clearly hadn’t been maintained for years, even though we used to come here often. Inside, a bad stench hit us as soon as we reached our floor. The bathroom had no ventilation, just a pipe leading into a hole for the drain, and the light was so dim it made the area gloomy. The curtain had a small hole, the cupboard door was missing, and the towel was torn. They hadn’t provided body wash or shampoo. I really don’t recommend this place. Video proof below.

The rooms and bathrooms are in pretty bad shape. They’re clean, but things are broken, and the bed isn’t comfortable.
