De Glory Hotel Usj 21

The staff made things easy during my stay at De Glory, and the room and toilet were both clean. There was hot water for showers too. I had a great experience and would recommend staying here next time.

The room had dusty floors and walls, and there were small red marks on the sheets and blankets. While I was sleeping, a colony of red ants bit me. The TV remote also didn't work. Check-in was very slow, and the hotel's condition and service were lousy. The excellent ratings on Agoda and Booking are misleading.

The bed, pillows, and blankets were uncomfortable, so I barely slept for the next few hours. The sink in the bathroom was so awful it made me feel like throwing up, and the towels seemed as if another guest had used them. Before that, a concierge with a shady manner asked for my ID instead of my passport, which made me feel unwelcome. The room had a horrible, funky smell, the walls were dry, and the hotel's atmosphere didn't seem pleasant at all. This was one of my worst hotel stays. I'll never come back, and the place deserves to be demolished for another venture.

The location gets five stars, but the price and service get one, so I'd give the hotel two stars overall. I'd rate it higher, stay longer, or recommend it to friends and family if whoever's in charge inspected the rooms and made some effort. The bathroom needs cleaning, especially the vanity shelf above the sink, which had toothpaste, mouthwash, and other stains from previous guests. There were cobwebs in the room and bathroom corners, and the pillowcase was torn. Please replace it instead of tying a knot to make it look good. The single bed was broken and unstable, possibly off balance at its center. We also need tissues or toilet paper, and bottled mineral water or at least a water dispenser in the hotel.
