Nexus Regency Suites Hotel Subang Jaya

We booked five rooms for four nights, but after the first night we all checked out and moved to other hotels. The rooms were old and rundown, dusty and dirty, and the dust badly triggered my sinus. The mattress covers were fully covered, the lift from the parking area didn't work, and the staircase was pitch dark. There was no gym or swimming pool. It's a poorly maintained budget hotel, and my photos show more. Take a risk if you book here. I wish I could give zero stars for the room condition. Don't be fooled by the clean-room photos or the 4-star rating. I'm not sure whether the photos can be viewed or whether posting them was disabled.

The parking was advertised as a flat rate of RM10 maximum, but I paid RM13 the first night and RM15 the second. My towel had lots of black spots, so I didn't use it for hygiene reasons. The lobby and hallway smelled musty, and the carpet was covered in stains. My room was spacious but very old. It's a 4-star hotel, but the standard isn't there.

The food was five-star. I had breakfast, lunch, dinner, hi tea, and supper for the bengkel, and everyone agreed it was delicious. My single room was spacious, clean, and in good shape, apart from the old ceiling and carpet. I could overlook the building because of the food.

I was happy with the stay, especially with several young children along. There was enough room for them to move around and play. The suite had a separate bedroom behind a sliding door, plus a living area, dining table, kitchen sink, mini fridge, wardrobe, and an ironing area. Inside the bedroom were a large writing desk and plenty of closet space. The bathroom was clean and had basic toiletries. The toilet was a little clogged and needed a few flushes, while the hot water worked very well, maybe too well, since it got very hot. The floor towel was worn, but the bath towels were okay, though I used my own. The MYTV had limited channels and none for children. The windows opened, so you'll need to keep an eye on young kids.
