I stopped at Main Place Mall in Subang Jaya for breakfast after leaving my car for a wash at Cars International with my membership. The half-boiled eggs, curry pork noodles, crispy lobak, and Ipoh iced kopi cham were just what I wanted. Before picking up the washed car, I also grabbed a few things at Jaya Grocer. It's a compact, easy-to-get-around mall, with three retail levels and lots to browse at Uniqlo. I spotted Fitness First on Level 8, though I'm not sure whether it connects to the residents' infinity pool. The atrium had bright Lunar New Year decorations and plenty of seasonal kiosks for 2026. A convenient neighbourhood mall that covered what I needed.

There are loads of indoor parking spaces, and payment is cashless by QR. This older, mid-sized mall near One City has a lot of useful shops: Uniqlo, Pet Lovers Centre, Eco-Shop, Daiso, Toys R Us, Celebrity Fitness gym, Jaya Grocers, a pharmacy, dentist, and Popular Bookstore. There's also a multi-stall food court at LG, plenty of restaurants, and even a McDonald's. Recommended.

It's near USJ 21 LRT station, with a short 15-minute walk to the mall. Under the apartment you'll find a medium-sized shopping centre that's surprisingly well stocked, from groceries and clothing to cafes and fast food. There's even a small arcade for weekend fun. A nice place to stroll, relax, or pick up daily essentials if you prefer a smaller mall.

The supermarket is great, especially for its organic selection, and there's plenty of good parking. Parking is free for the first 30 minutes. They've got everything.

I came mainly for dinner, then wandered around a few shops. It's a medium-to-large mall with most of the amenities and stores people look for, and the mix and prices are pretty competitive. You don't have to be after high-end brands to enjoy shopping here. Most food stalls are on LG, though specific places may be on the first floor. I couldn't find a digital or picture guide to the shops, which would be helpful. I'd like to return when I have more time.
