Big Orange Hotel

The staff were friendly and helpful, and their kind, caring hospitality made our short stay nice. The room was tidy and comfortable, with air conditioning and a private bathroom with hot water. They also had Wi-Fi, an iron, and hot and cold water for drinks. The price felt very reasonable for the convenience. Breakfast was simple, but tasty and filling.

The room had good lighting and enough space for two, and the toilet was clean. They provided shower gel, drinking water from a filter, and a simple breakfast that was adequate: nasi lemak, bread, and half-boiled eggs. There was a nasi kandar place nearby. The towels were dirty, though, and there was a faint cigarette smell in the room. No hairdryer or shampoo was provided. The hospital is about an eight-minute drive away. We needed Grab, which cost around RM8 during rush hour, but there was no traffic jam.

The room was decent, though pretty small for what it cost. There’s no lift, so keep that in mind if you’re travelling with older people. The towels had brownish stains. Not sure what to say.

The room has plenty of space, but the furniture layout feels a bit awkward. I wish there were a table for working. The hallways are breezy, with fans, and the signs are clear.
