Really poor service. I tried calling, sending WhatsApp messages, and ringing the bell, but got no response for ages. Then I found the worker inside the reception area. The hotel staff and management are painfully slow to respond. Don’t book here. Zero stars.

The room had a noisy, dripping air conditioner, and the internet was only about 1.2 Mbps. You could hear through the walls, with noise going on until 4 a.m. Then people started ringing from 7 because nobody was at reception. Check-in was a mess too. I rang for 15 minutes with no answer, and it took half an hour before anyone opened the door. Reception was usually unattended. The toilet dripped and couldn’t be flushed, so the closest usable toilet was at the mall, 13 minutes away. The power socket sprayed sparks, apparently from an assembly error, and was right by the mattress. Fire risk!

My family and I stood waiting nearly half an hour for someone to open the door. I called the number the hotel provided four times, but only got voicemail. Eventually a staff member came back from outside. Why can staff leave during working hours and leave guests waiting that long?

I couldn’t sleep with the toilet broken and water constantly dripping. The bed was dirty and musty, and there wasn’t even a blanket. There’s also no proper sign to help you find the hotel. A lot needs fixing.

The worst OYO in Sungai petani, no stars from me. There was a bloodstain, and the toilet hadn’t been cleaned. Bueeerk.
