Sastria Hotel

There's no lift, just stairs. I booked a twin room and got a room with a view. Hotel staff provided a sejadah, and there was plenty of space for solat. A famous local eatery is right next door. The room was okay, but the shower pressure was very slow, making the water too hot even on the lowest setting. The bidet and basin had strong pressure, though. Maybe the shower heater has no pump. Also, the toilet light switch is oddly placed by the front door instead of next to the toilet. Lighting in the room comes from one LED bulb in the center and another yellow one on the wall.

The room looked quite different from the Agoda photos: the TV was tiny, the bathroom wasn't very clean, the bed frame creaked when I lay down, and the lighting was too dim. Getting to the third floor by stairs also felt like a workout. It really didn't match the pictures.

Check-in was easy, with no deposit, and the customer service was friendly. Worth it.

We checked in at 6 pm to find the bathroom completely wet. The room smelled so strongly of detergent that we had to open the window, but the duvet cover still didn't feel fresh or clean. We were uncomfortable using it and slept with our own linen and cloth. If you arrive in the evening, street parking near the hotel is hard to find because the famous restaurant is next door.
