I stayed during the December 2025 holidays. The location is convenient, but the room and upkeep need work. The fan was dusty and there was visible dirt in several corners. The room had a TV, fan, and plug points, but no fridge, air-conditioning, table, chairs, or mini bar. It was a very basic setup: a simple queen bed, two pillows, a thin comforter, and tile floors without carpet. The toilet door was already damaged when we checked in. Only two small bar soaps were supplied, with no shampoo or other basic toiletries. Room service was minimal, and towel changes had to be requested. There is a hot and cold water dispenser. Access is by stairs only, with no lift, and it didn’t feel very secure. Hopefully management improves the room quality and maintenance to make better use of the area’s potential.

My room on the third floor was a disaster. The tap leaked and left the bathroom wet the whole time, and the bedsheet had holes. Worst of all, some animal was living in the roof. Its footsteps were so loud I couldn’t sleep.

The location is right in central Tanah Rata, with easy access to the market and food stalls. Parking requires buying a ticket at the mini market on the ground floor. For a budget hotel, though, there are things that could be better. The shower water was slow, perhaps clogged or poorly maintained, and water was pooling in the bathroom. The window had no lock and could simply be opened from outside. The door only had a basic lock, with no extra swing padlock, so anyone with a key could open it. The plug was too close to the bed. There was no TV, just the bracket, though I did appreciate the wall fan. This was my experience during a one-night stay.
