Khor’s Apartment @ Greenhill Resort

Please look past the positive reviews and read more feedback before booking. We paid two days in advance and had booked a ground floor unit for 7 people, with the assurance that it would match the photos on Agoda. On arrival, KHOR'S APARTMENT gave us a different place on the 3rd floor, Room F24, which looked nothing like the listing. Our original room had apparently been given to someone else, and management said everything was fully booked. We found the unit poorly cleaned, with lots of dust and smelly beds, pillows, sheets, and blankets. The water pressure was also very low, and it seemed housekeeping and laundry had not been done properly. We asked management to replace the room but got no proper response until after our one-night stay, when they apologized for the mix-up. This was extremely unprofessional and disappointing. We strongly advise against staying here or booking early. It could ruin a family vacation.

We booked two nights but left after just one because the place was so dirty, and the furniture looked like it hadn’t been replaced in years. The owner or worker was friendly, but I honestly can’t find anything else good to say. The kitchen utensils and clothes hanger were rusty and unusable, and they hadn’t bothered to replace them. Just thinking about staying in this apartment, Eugene, still makes me feel sick.

It was my first visit to Cameron Highland, and the man looking after us was friendly and accommodating. Since I was with an elderly person, he let us choose between an upper floor and the ground floor. Very considerate.

At night it was misty and around 15°C, with fresh air and a quiet setting. We had a clean, well-kept, three-room, two-bathroom walk-up apartment overlooking a small valley with an unobstructed view. The bathrooms had been updated and had hot showers. The kitchen was stocked with a gas stove, oven, hood, fridge, microwave, kettle, glasses, mugs, and utensils, though it could use a toaster. All the lights worked, there were some Astro channels, and the complimentary WiFi was excellent. The dark parquet floor felt sticky, so we wore indoor slippers. Lighter laminated wood might brighten the apartment’s feel.
