The rooms are reasonably clean and there are shops nearby, but this budget hotel isn't especially cheap. The price was similar to hotel rooms in the Klang Valley and JB. There are three flights of stairs and no lift, which may suit gym-goers or very fit people, but not seniors, especially with heavy luggage. The beds are very low, Japanese-style, and the Agoda pictures look much more presentable. The unicorn blankets are cute, though not to my taste. The water heater worked, but had masking tape across it, and water took a while to drain from the floor. The room smelled musty too. I paid in full through Agoda, but still had to pay a RM50 cash deposit per room and RM6 tourism tax. The receptionist said the deposit was in case I got blood on the bedsheet. I told him not to worry, that would only happen if there was a murder. I might add more pictures later if I remember. I'd only recommend it if you're fine with these conditions and all those stairs.

The room was okay and everything worked, but the staff were the real problem. We travel by bicycle and couldn't find a hotel nearby with a safe place to store them. The desk man first agreed we could put ours in a room one stair up, then changed his mind when we tried. He suggested leaving them in the middle of the stairwell, where nobody could pass. We managed to fit them in our room, luckily, but he didn't help or try to work it out with us. If he didn't understand, he should have said so instead of agreeing and then refusing. We were also charged the tourist tax twice. When we showed the receipt, he didn't return the extra payment. In the evening, staff watched reels behind the desk with the volume loud enough for music to carry down the hallway, without considering people might be trying to sleep. I don't recommend this place.

I paid RM88 for a small walk-in room, and it felt like renting a cheap bilik sewa. The air conditioner seemed broken, and there were cracks in lots of places on the walls. There's no lift either, just a steep staircase to climb. One of the worst experiences I've had.

Seriously bad service, they were rude. The toilet smelled, the bed was uncomfortable and the sheets were dirty. Really not worth the price, honestly.

I've stayed in better budget hotels for the same price. The bathroom wasn't clean, and there were gaps in both the room and bathroom doors that let you see through. The bed quality was really bad, and the receptionists were noisy all night. Getting up the long staircase was exhausting, especially with bags. Definitely don't recommend it.
