The cigarette smell hit me as soon as I entered, so I had to open both the main door and balcony door to air the place out. The unit wasn't as advertised and hadn't been kept up. The corridor on the unit's floor was narrow, dark, and scary. There were stains on the dining chair, living room table, and bath towel, and the sofa was old. The toilet seat was broken, and the shower heater only worked sometimes, giving hot water briefly before it turned cold. The kettle was dirty too, and I had to wash it many times before using it. The lobby was in the car park, with a longer walk to get there. It was an extremely bad experience with both the unit and building. For a similar price I could get somewhere much cleaner and more comfortable, even if it was smaller. I won't book this unit again.
We enjoyed our stay at Homey planet in penang tanjong tokong. The balcony had a nice view, and Gurney Drive was easy to get to.
Be careful if you book Landmark by sanguine through a platform like agoda. We were cheated, the room wasn't available, and there was NO REFUND FROM AGODA.
The view from the top of the building is lovely, especially at night.
