U Design Hotel

For my business trip, the room was fine, and the toilet was clean and dry. It’s upstairs in the same building as Mr. D.I.Y., near a hypermarket and several restaurants, so it’s easy to pick up snacks or find food. The birds around the trees and building make the surroundings noisy, and parking in the designated spaces needs care because bird droppings could cover your vehicle.

The staff member on duty was nice, and there are plenty of eateries and shops nearby for food and other things. The toilet is huge for such a small room, with water pressure I really liked. Still, room hygiene could be better: I found a few small bugs or ants on the mattress, and the air conditioning needs servicing because it wasn’t cold enough. Otherwise, the hotel is okay.

The birds are really noisy, and I wish they’d go away, but nature is nature, so I guess you just deal with it. Watch out for the spots under the trees where they poop, hehe. The rooms are clean, the facilities work, and the staff are friendly and accommodating. I’ll come back.

There are lots of amenities nearby, which is handy. Just avoid parking beneath the trees or your car could end up covered in lots of huge bird droppings. I hope MDT can trim some branches to reduce the flock.
