Johan's Place

Our holiday here was really good. The room was fabulous, with a great sea view, a comfortable bed, a mini refrigerator to keep drinks cool, and it was clean. The hospitality was superb, and the staff made sure we were in good condition. You can rent a motor bike for around RM80/day and go snorkeling for around RM100 per person. Insha Allah, we’ll come back and stay here again.

Tucked into the corner of ABC, the chalet has a great vibe and doesn’t feel too crowded. Its restaurant serves good local food and seafood. You can take a 20 minute jungle hike to nearby Salant Bay, and it’s about a 15-minute walk from the jetty. I’d highly recommend coming here if you want a peaceful place to stay.

The bungalows are lovely and close to the beach, and the host was very helpful. It’s a great deal for the little money you pay.

The quiet setting and beach out front were nice, and the owner gave us a good rate. He was helpful with airport pickup and drop-off, and answered our questions quickly. Still, our room felt old and poorly maintained, like the place was waiting for repairs before next season. The mattress was worn and much too soft, so I slept uncomfortably. Nazri 1 seemed in better shape, and its restaurant was excellent.
