Kasih Sayang Hill Resort

The rabbits were adorable and friendly. There's also a jungle trail to explore, although it was covered with woods. From here, you can take in panoramic views of peaceful Kota Kinabalu, with an enchanting scene at night and a mesmerizing one by day.

The staff made the place feel homely, and the views were stunning. Even the desserts were amazing. Thanks, Kasih Sayang Hill resort, for such warm hospitality during our short but memorable stay. 🥰❤️

In the morning, stepping outside the room gave us a beautiful, peaceful view of Mount Kinabalu. The room had no air conditioning, but it stayed pleasantly cool and the air felt fresh and clean. It's basic, but had the amenities we needed. Check-in was straightforward. The hot water only worked now and then, though maybe we just hadn't figured out how to use it. Breakfast was included, but dinner wasn't. A few small bugs might come into the room at night, but it wasn't a big issue.

The staff were friendly and made us feel welcome, and their service was great. The sunset and night views were breathtaking too. I think this place could become the next Kokol Haven if they keep up with maintenance and refurnish it, and I'd be glad to return. We stayed overnight with family on 27 December 2024, our second visit. The place looked more rundown than before. Walking across the restaurant floor felt risky because some of the wood was soft and seemed like it could break at any moment. One of our rooms had no towels. When we asked, staff said towels depended on availability and they'd send some if there were any. That seemed odd, since there weren't many guests that day. The hot water in our rooms wasn't hot or even warm either.
