Blue Moon was a great place to stay, and the beach is just a three-minute walk from the house.

The rooms could use air conditioning, but I had no other complaints. Because cancellations left the resort quiet during the protests, Edgars gave us extra-special treatment. It was an exceptional visit, and I highly recommend coming here.

Big rooms, lovely scenery, a deep pool, and restaurants nearby. The location is perfect, and our host was so friendly. You definitely need a 4x4, though maybe you could manage in a 2x4.

The pool is really great, and the rooms are clean. They replace the towels and clean the rooms and house daily, which is nice. There are mosquito nets in every room, too. But the place is neglected, and the owner is very rude, so sorting out any problems with him is the biggest issue. Bring your own pillows unless you like sleeping on 1cm ones. The room fans are very slow, so you'll need a proper one of your own to sleep through the hot mosambican nights. The small bucket bin is frustrating, especially for a house for 8 people, which needs at least a large bin. Most of the gas stove burners don't work, and the electric pan is broken, leaving the braai as mostly the only option. Bring your own cutlery, since most of theirs and the other utensils are useless. The fridge didn't work properly or seal, and the owner refused to replace it. We struggled to keep our meat and fish in it. Don't use the washing facilities, they're EXTREMELY expensive. The price doesn't match the quality. We didn't expect luxury, but this was much less than we expected.

We left immediately. This run-down place is poorly equipped for a holiday, with a rude owner and very little furniture. The only stove was a one-plate gas burner and a microwave, and the house had just one kitchen table and two plastic chairs for seating. Go somewhere else.
