The staff were friendly, and the fish was the best I've ever had 👌🏿. But we had serious issues during our stay in October 2024. One day, we went out on boats without life jackets and nearly died at sea. When we reported it to Craig, he didn't apologize, at least not to us. We were a family of five on the top package for 6-7 nights, which included several drinks per person each day. Management couldn't take responsibility when we were billed for drinks we understood were included. I paid for charges I shouldn't have had to pay, and the only compensation offered was one free night for the family.

The food was always delicious, and the employees were great. Our host kept checking that everything was going well. We had a lot of fun as a couple at this beautiful, remote place. It's right on the beach and has plenty of water toys to use, with the hobie cat as our favorite. In the evenings there are games too, including table tennis, snooker and darts.

A handy stop for boaters. The people are friendly and happy, and they'll help you sort out whatever you need, from fuel and groceries to banking. The food and service are excellent.

The trip over by boat from Barra made for a perfect day out, and we'll stay a few nights next time so we can enjoy more of Castelo do Mar. The setting is beautiful, with stunning views and a calm, relaxing feel. Craig and the team made my sister's birthday feel special from the moment we arrived. They baked a lovely cake and decorated the table, and took care with every detail throughout the day. We had an amazing time. Thanks again, Craig and team. See you soon! ♡

Even with the wind howling, the resort stayed calm and sheltered. We spotted lots of humpback dolphins and flamingos from the restaurant, which was such a treat. We visited Castelo a couple of times while in Linga Linga and loved it. The staff made us feel at home right away, and the food and cocktails were very good. The pizza especially impressed us, since we didn't expect to find such great pizza in rural Mozambique. Thanks for a lovely time, we can't wait to come back!
