I've stayed at Vista do mar Lodge twice now, and it's become one of my happy places. The lodge is perfectly situated and well maintained, and the meals are delightful. The team handled our changed plans with ease: we were delayed and arrived very late on the first trip, then needed to stay longer on the second. The crew led by Jo and Tyler are well trained, courteous, and very accommodating. I'll definitely be back.

Vista do Mar Lodge is a great beachfront spot, with good food, good accommodation, and very friendly staff. I've never before watched whales with the naked eye while having breakfast, lunch, or just a cold beer. It's definitely on our "re-do list"!

We sadly couldn't make it to Vista do Mar because of the current political situation. When we told the lodge we were concerned about safety, they had no issue refunding all our money, seven days before our arrival date. That's excellent service, and Vista do Mar will definitely see us in the future. Thank you.

The trip on the catamaran made the holiday extra special and memorable. Taking photos with sea stars in our hands and walking on an island with a drink was a once-in-a-lifetime experience come true. At Vista do Mar, relaxation was at its peak, but there were also plenty of exciting activities to burn some calories. You can step right from the deck outside your room onto the beach for a morning swim or walk. It was our first visit to Mozambique, and we were surprised by how safe we felt. People were friendly, trusting, and helpful. The rooms are clean and spacious, the views spectacular, and the full breakfast and dinner amazing. As for cost, with dinner and breakfast included, Vista Do Mar works out much cheaper than any holiday destination in SA. Affordable quality!!

Our room was spotless and comfortable, with air conditioning, a kettle and a Nespresso machine. We also loved the fresh, generous meals, especially the crayfish, and the bar staff made a great Pina Colada. There’s a pool and games room too. Vista Do Mar Lodge sits right on the beach, with beautiful views throughout the day. We were lucky enough to spot humpback whales every day. You can join whale watching safaris, sail to nearby islands or swim with sharks, though the lodge is just as nice if you’d rather keep things quiet. The staff were friendly, attentive and always ready to help. Thanks to Jo & team for making our stay so memorable. It’s a wonderful spot for a beach holiday in Mozambique, and I can’t recommend it enough.
