Angel Boutique Hotel

The place is clean and affordable, with friendly staff and great service. The wifi wasn’t very good, though, and there’s no lift if your room is on the third floor. Upper rooms get a small ocean view, while the others look onto the garden. Bring cash, since they only accept cash, in MZN, ZAR, or dollars. There’s just one bed setup, but they can arrange to add a smaller bed if you need one.

Vidal was a real gem. He gave us wonderful service and nothing seemed like too much trouble. I think they’re working on upgrading the facilities, adding things like shelves. A couple of things were frustrating. We paid for breakfast, but the allowance wasn’t enough for the restaurant we thought was part of the hotel, so management shouldn’t offer breakfast as an included option that way. The website photos are misleading too, since the restaurant and pool shown aren’t private to the hotel. Still, we had a wonderful time in Mozambique. This little boutique hotel is well priced, in a great location and a safe area. Thank you!

Things here aren’t all perfect, but Mario was. He was always around, friendly, and went the extra mile for guests. I’d come back just because of him. Thanks so much, Mario, for everything.

I really liked the place and want to stay again. A few fixes would make the room feel just right: a towel rack in the WC, a bidet attachment, a replacement for the missing balcony light fitting, a shower door, a shelf under the bathroom mirror, and a new shower tap. Housekeeping could also use some training on room preparation. Spend 15 000mtn on the room and it’d be absolutely perfect. So please?
