I was here for about eight hours during a transit stop, and it did what I needed: a clean, fairly quiet place to shower, sleep, and reset without hassle. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was clean, the hot water worked well, and the shower was fine. A/C and Wi-Fi were okay too. The rooms are on the small side, though not tiny. The surrounding area is lower income. I felt more comfortable arriving and leaving by car, whether by taxi, ride, or pickup. I can’t say how safe it is for everyone, but I wouldn’t choose to walk around alone nearby, especially at night. For a few hours of rest, it’s a practical, honest option. For a longer visit, or if you plan to explore on foot by yourself, you may want somewhere else.

I enjoyed being at Hotel 2001, but the breakfast setup was a problem. The food items weren’t arranged in a way that made sense. We found Rama, but it wasn’t near the bread, which was too far away, and bacon was expected but we couldn’t find any.

A really bad experience. The rooms were dirty, and the AC wasn’t powerful enough to cool the whole room.

I’d read a few negative reviews before arriving and was nervous since I’d already booked. Happily, my stay was awesome. The room had an iron and board, hair dryer, tea facilities, and a bar fridge. The air conditioning worked well, WiFi was excellent, and the shower water was always hot. Everything was clean, from the linen to the room, and the bed was comfortable. I’ll definitely be back.
