Breakfast is continental, and there's a chef on hand to make omelettes and similar dishes. They can also arrange an airport transfer for a small fee. My room was spotless and had coffee and tea facilities, and the staff were wonderful, with amazing attention to every detail. I'd recommend staying here and hope to return at the end of our trip.
The property felt a little cold compared with the weather outside, but the rooms were clean and breakfast was good and plentiful. The staff were amazing and helped us arrange things for our trip, including an airport taxi and a driver named Daniel to visit Kruger Park.
The location made it easy to get around on foot, with the old town, mall, fish market area and some great restaurants all close by. We upgraded to the larger suite when we arrived and stayed 8 nights. The rooms are good, though ours faced the main road and got a little noisy because there was no double glazing. On a couple of days the shower alternated between hot and cold, but that was minor. What really made the stay were the fantastic, friendly, welcoming and very helpful English-speaking staff. Thank you so much, Ilka, Marcia, James and Jose. I recommend the place and wouldn't want to stay anywhere else.
The area felt safe, and the location was all right, around 5kms from the mall and south beach. Breakfast was really nice. It rained a lot during my stay, and when it kept raining, the shops shut and everyone stayed indoors.
I spent two months here for the first time, and the time seemed to fly by. Terra Guest House became my first family in Maputo. The staff were great, and I felt like I was with family.
