The rooms need some care: there’s mold on the ceilings and peeling paint. Parking is limited in this central Maputo location, and guests are asked to leave cars roadside with a guard on duty around the clock. Breakfast had cheese, omelet, Vienna sausages, chickpeas, cornflakes, diluted juice, tea, coffee, and only white bread. Service was acceptable, but the staff spoke only Portuguese, with no English-speaking employees.

A good place in a good location. Electricity can be an issue if load shedding happens during your stay. I’d recommend it for adults only.

The hosts were very friendly and the service was great, but the room quality disappointed me. The fittings and furnishings feel poorly done for the price. It was nice to have air conditioning and English TV channels.

The photos make the place look different from reality. There’s a pool in them, but it was empty, dirty, and out of use. They didn’t serve breakfast or tell us, and there was no shower gel or toothpaste. We were thirsty and they couldn’t give us water without charging. They did give us some, but it was expensive.

The running water was dirty, so I didn’t even shower. The wifi barely worked properly. I hated staying there. The prawns and beef were expensive and shameful, and they weren’t cooked the way I’d asked. Drinks were expensive too. You should close the hotel.
