White Garden Hotel

The property has good infrastructure, the location is convenient, and the rooms were clean. The cleaning staff and guard did a very good job, and there are good Indian restaurants nearby. We stayed five nights with family. But be careful when booking: the owner's handling of our situation was very unprofessional and upset us right at check-in. I had work to finish in Maputo, which might take five, six, or even seven days, so I booked five nights through the app expecting the hotel to accommodate a change if needed. At check-in, I told the receptionist we might leave a day early or extend by a day depending on my work. She said she couldn’t change anything herself and had to consult the owner. The owner gave two options: if we left early, we could use the unused night on a later visit, or we’d be charged for all five nights without staying. Either way, I’d have to pay for five nights. I was already cursing myself for choosing this hotel when the receptionist said payment was required in full before check-in.

A fairly new hotel with modern facilities, and my room was perfect. It’s in a central spot with plenty of places to eat nearby. The staff were incredibly helpful. The free airport pickup was a real bonus and saved me the hassle of bargaining with cab drivers over a fair price. Highly recommended.

A really cozy place, and the staff are polite and friendly. They don’t serve food, but there are plenty of restaurants nearby.

The reception and management were very friendly, and the location is good, not far from the city centre or the attractions. The rooms were clean, with hot water and electricity available all the time, and the AC worked properly. It’s good value for the price. I’d happily recommend it as long as you’re not expecting a five-star Hilton :)
