Hotel Fátima

I chose this place because I needed reliable WiFi for calls, but none of the rooms had a usable connection. I tested it at check-in and ended up giving a lower rating because of that. Starlink only worked in the restaurant, and reception should have told me.

The rooms, food, and service were all nice. I didn’t see any carpets, and the TV picture and channel selection could be better.

The apartment had everything we needed, so we could cook ourselves a delicious meal. We stayed one night while passing through Tete, and it was a great place to unwind between buses. The gym was one of the best I’ve seen in a hotel, and we really appreciated the pool. Beautiful stay, I’d absolutely recommend it!

We found the staff very helpful. Not everyone spoke much English, but they would find someone who could answer most questions. The apartment was very well equipped for either a short or longer stay, and the rooms were spacious. Breakfast had plenty to choose from, including hot dishes, vegetables, fruit, meat, bread, pastries, yogurt, and cereal. There were different coffees, including a pod machine with eight pod varieties, as well as tea, fresh juice, and plain water. The hotel sits in a central spot near the main bridge and the Zambezi river, set back from the first lane. Its entrance is raised above street level and guarded around the clock. On site, there’s a pool open daily from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., a gym with slightly longer hours that can also be opened on request, and a restaurant.
