The location is great and the service was fantastic, but the food quality was nowhere near worth the price. We were given ready-made frozen pizza bases with cheddar, and the margaritas were among the worst I've ever had. This review is about the restaurant, not a stay at the hotel. Vilanculos has plenty of good places to eat, so I'd go somewhere else.

We didn't stay here this time, but enjoyed the music, drinks, food, and laid-back atmosphere at this recently refurbished boutique hotel. From the great location, you look out over the water and beach, with colourful boats moored in the old harbour.

I had a great experience here. The rooms are spacious and beautiful, the bathrooms clean, and the staff cheerful and helpful. There are USB-A plugs in the wall, which was a nice surprise. The coast has strong tides, so keep that in mind, as you can see in my photographs.
