The 45-minute boat transfer to the lodge was one of the highlights of staying here. The sea views are lovely, and the experience feels very private. It’s a great destination for a year break, with world-class service and staff who pay close attention to detail.

Fresh, tasty, plentiful food was the highlight for me, and Chef Roberto tailored dishes to our preferences and requests. The lodge sits in a bay with amazing sunsets, which we watched each night by the fire with G&Ts. On arrival, the general manager met us at the airport, then after a short boat ride over clear water, we were welcomed by staff singing and playing instruments. Everyone was warm, friendly, and accommodating. Our clean, comfortable, luxurious room had mosquito nets, air conditioning, and a ceiling fan, all of which came in handy. I also had some of my best massages so far at the spa. We went snorkeling at Bazaruto Island and deep-sea fishing, and both excursions were rewarding and worth every cent. I’d highly recommend the lodge, and we’ll be back for future anniversaries.
