They even put our dinner through after the kitchen had shut, and handed us ice-cold beer when we arrived at 9.30pm. The staff were so professional and friendly, proper rockstars. We'd been held up at the Nooroewer border post for five hours on our way into Nam, and this was the first campsite Maps showed us. It really came through.

We had a relaxing river view from the pool, dining area and bar, since the place sits right on the riverbank. Breakfast was good, and everyone working there was friendly and helpful. We spent a week in Dec/Jan, and our room had plenty of space, nice daylight and very good blackout curtains. Parking right outside the door was handy, and there were outlets for keeping things like a fridge powered.

Friendly staff and a nice restaurant, with an amazing river view. A lovely place to stay on a Namibia road trip.

The room was clean and had all the amenities, though it felt like a quasi-tented bungalow beside a man-made, oasis-style dam and had little style or creativity. The setting along the Orange River was nice. Food and drinks were basic, but service was courteous and friendly.

Dinner was hearty and tasty, and the friendly service was efficient. For the quality of the experience, it was good value. The aircon did struggle in the 40° heat, though. Best of all was sitting by the pool with a beer, watching the Orange River in flood. A restorative end to our Namibia road trip, with marvellous views from and around the resort.
