The camp itself is lovely, thoughtfully designed, and the food was excellent. After heavy rain, the staff told us honestly that elephant sightings the next day were unlikely. They suggested enjoying the lodge and leaving early for our next drive. We were disappointed to miss the elephants, but appreciated their candor.

We spent three nights at Camp Kipwe and left with memories we'll keep for a long time. The highlight was the people: everyone was warm, professional, and fun to spend time with. We got to know several staff members by name and shared stories and cultures. On our last evening, Lazarus arranged a private dinner table beside the fire, a lovely surprise. The game drive and rock painting tour were both informative and enjoyable. Ziggy found 15 desert elephants, and we got to see them up close. Meals were excellent and generous, so we never left hungry. The lodge is beautifully built and well run. It's worth paying a bit more for a stay like this, and I'd happily recommend it.

The staff made us feel welcome and well looked after, and the food was the best we had anywhere in Namibia. The chef is excellent, especially with the Oryx steaks. For a sundowner, the view from the top of the rocks is hard to beat. Camp Kipwe is tucked into the rock face, and wandering around the winding paths is a pleasure. The rooms and views are breathtaking, and the whole camp feels like a work of art. We also did the Desert Elephants and Twyfelfontein activities, both fantastic. I'd absolutely stay here again.

The setting is unforgettable, and you can see the care and taste that went into building and decorating the place. We loved our stay. The rooms and bathrooms are extraordinary, the service was amazing, and the restaurant food was the best we had in Namibia.

The suite is worth recommending, especially for the included minibar, which was a great perk. The hotel is built right into the hill, giving it a special feel. We had a nice stay!
