The five-course dinner was the highlight for us, with local products and exceptional quality. From our table we watched eland antelopes gather at the waterhole beside the building. The lodge is a beautiful farm in a stunning landscape, and the well-kept facilities, lovely rooms, bar, and dining room all had breathtaking views of the surrounding nature. The hospitality was charming too. We had an amazing stopover at Fiume Lodge and will definitely return when we travel from Etosha to Divundu next time.

The Manager and staff were friendly and helpful. If you enjoy nature, this lodge makes a great escape and a fantastic stop along the Transkarahari highway.

We’ve stayed with Due North twice now, and I’ll find a reason to visit their third place too. It’s that good. If you want detailed, carefully put together experiences, stay at any of their lodges.

Even in the rain, you can spot giraffes, kudus, ostriches, zebras, and other herbivores here. The place is very well maintained, the hospitality is sublime, and the prices are reasonable. Thanks to the manager Riehette. We stopped again on May 12th, a month later, and had dinner this time. It was very, very nice and prepared exceptionally well. Worth stopping just for the meal 👍
