Willem's sundowner game drive was really great. We saw many different animals and got some great explanations, and the food was good too. We were almost the only guests and had six beds for the two of us :-) The staff waiting in the corner while we finished eating felt a bit awkward. They were also waiting at the entrance when we returned from the drive. Nice of them, but it was almost too much attention for me ;-)

We're the owners, and we're very proud of our people. They make Auob Lodge such a great place. We aren't at the lodge full time, but every work visit feels like a vacation. Compliments to our staff, you're our strength and joy.

A great lodge in the Kalahari, with really friendly, helpful people. We booked a game drive there too, and it was cool. Bring cash, though, since the card machine doesn't always work.

The staff were excellent, friendly and helpful, and made us feel at home. It's a good-value lodge and a great base for anyone wanting to explore the Kalahari's red dunes, sunscapes and more. The property has 25 rooms with air-conditioning, ceiling fans and en-suite showers and toilets, plus a pool, restaurant and camping. There's also a large private reserve, 80 square kilometers, where wildlife roams freely, including giraffes, antelopes and ostriches. You can go hiking, take safaris or stargazing tours, or walk the unguided trails and spot animals.

Everything was tidy and clean, and the staff were kind. We had dinner, bed and breakfast booked, and even got cake and coffee in the afternoon. Dinner and breakfast were delicious, and the steak was really tender.
