Etusis Lodge

The horse ride at sundown to the Marble mountain is a memory I won’t forget. The lodge is lovely, surrounded by nature, and our room and bathroom were spacious and clean, with a very comfortable bed and pillows. Dinner was a delicious buffet with lots to choose from, prepared and served with care. The manager and staff were friendly and helpful, and looked after us really well. We enjoyed our stay very much, and I highly recommend it.

We felt comfortable right away because the owners were so warm and welcoming. The bungalows were spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the grounds are clearly well cared for. There’s plenty to do, from walking, hiking, or riding horses to relaxing by the pool. The farm has lots of animals, including horses, zebra, a dog, cats, and a mercat, which is wonderful for kids. We loved the food too. Such a special place, I’d give it more stars if I could. Do follow the road sign instead of Google Maps.

We had some great horse rides, with chances to see leopards, and you can also hike from here. Mt. Otjipatera is about 2000m. The owners were very friendly and made us feel like family. We liked the food, pool, atmosphere, and sundowners. Such a nice place to stay, definitely worth spending a few nights. 10/10 would recommend!

We were a family group of 30, and management and staff worked hard to keep everything running, while still keeping their sense of humor. The food was tasty, high quality, and served on time. We enjoyed the location and the lovely mountain views. Our clean, comfortable chalets had aircon and plenty of hot water. We’re definitely planning to come back.
