We stayed at Tsauchab River Lodge from the 26th to the 28th of August. The chalets are spacious, private and neat, and the Steyn family made us feel welcome. The whole area is so well managed, with a warm, at-home atmosphere. There are antique pieces all around, inside and outside, and walking through the lodge feels like going back in time. We spent hours looking at the decor made from reused scrap metal, turned into all kinds of figures and shapes. The hiking trails are beautiful. We only managed two, but we're planning to return for the remaining trails. The food was fresh and delicious. Definitely worth visiting Tsauchab.

The service, food and accommodation were all brilliant, and the breakfast spread was incredible. It was my first visit and I loved it. I could only stay one night this time, but next time I'd like to spend longer exploring the area.

The owners and staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. The place feels like a little museum filled with interesting things and great vibes. The food was good, and it's well worth a stay. What a gem.
