Adventure Village

Posting only about the accommodation. The room was reasonable for the price, but there seemed to be a damp problem, possibly from poor shower waterproofing and the container-style construction with no ventilation. We could see mould on the silicone joints between the wall panels and extensive water damage around the shower. Someone else in our group asked to move rooms because the musty smell there was so strong. Our room had a very strong smell of cleaning products, perhaps to cover the mustiness.

A welcoming stopover on the outskirts of Swakopmund, with nearby facilities and an onsite restaurant at the main entrance. The service was welcoming, and the rooms were clean and well maintained. The facilities give you a chance to rest and take a hot shower.

For what we paid, the uncomfortable bed was about what we expected. We still had to wait until 2.30pm before we could check in. A decent budget option.

We took the 2 1/2 hour quad and living desert adventure and really enjoyed it. The rooms are cosy, and the place looks cool from the outside.
