The Oxtail and Truffle soup was next level, and all the food was delicious. We celebrated our anniversary with dinner here and had such a great experience. Carlos, Martha and the management gave excellent service, and they even surprised us with a complimentary dessert. They paid attention to every detail and made our evening extra special. We wouldn’t book here again. The room was small and a little musty, and breakfast was just average with no hot options. The hotel is old but well maintained, yet the value for money doesn’t add up given the small room and overall standard.

We loved the quiet location at Hansa Hotel. During our December 2025 visit, the service was efficient and everything worked properly, from the internet to the water. The balconies could use a bit more privacy, but otherwise it was a fantastic, trouble-free stay.

The hotel has a bit of a “colonial” feel and doesn’t seem much like the rest of the country, but I still had a very nice stay. It was probably the most comfortable hotel of our Namibia trip. The staff were helpful, the breakfast was quite nice and very European, and both the wifi and air conditioning worked reliably.

Staying at Hansa Hotel feels like going back in time. It’s classy and classic, with a beautiful garden and bar/club. The staff looked after us so well that one evening they let our group use a lobby lounge to chat and visit without disturbing other guests. I’d definitely come back.
