We found the service consistently warm and welcoming, and the room and bathroom were roomy and comfortable. The design and quality feel pretty basic, though. The location makes it easy to walk to restaurants, the beach, and town. It works fine for a night or two if you want a hotel instead of a guesthouse and would rather not pay for the Strand, the town’s luxury option.

We were in Swakopmund for a Namibia tour and spent a few nights at Artemis. It was a lovely hotel, with nice rooms and amenities. We could walk to plenty of nearby restaurants and shops.

The staff were amazing, and breakfast and dinner at the adjoining restaurant were great. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, and the room was comfortable. 10/10!

We found plenty of restaurants within easy walking distance, so the lack of an in-house restaurant wasn't a problem. The staff were friendly, too. Artemis Hotel is near the coast, around 500 meters from the Jetty and the well-known Tuc restaurant. My room was spacious enough, perfectly fine, and had a coast view. The lobby and entrance felt cold and short on atmosphere. Breakfast was quite basic and served in the building next door.
