A lovely break from the busy city, with a warm, family feel. The food was delicious and made by the friendly farm host. It’s a great spot near Windhoek to get a taste of farm life and a little of Namibia’s history.

We were five, along with ten other guests from abroad, and the service was great the whole time. Even though we booked at short notice, we were treated like VIPs from arrival through our three-night stay. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner were all excellent.

Since taking over in January 2022, Kathrin and Michael have welcomed guests with delicious meals made using tasty local ingredients. The new thatch-roof lapa is a lovely spot for eating outside, with spectacular views of the Olifants River and Bismark Mountains. Everyone who has stayed with us since the change in management has enjoyed their visit.

The old post office and prison have been turned into a unique holiday spot, with breathtaking scenery around it. The food was super delicious and the service superb. I can only recommend it.
