Oasis de Kiamu

Our package included breakfast and a rental car, and we had no regrets about booking it. The hotel's central position makes it easy to visit the whole island without long drives. Our room was clean and the beds comfortable, and the Wi-Fi worked perfectly. The restaurant had decent dinner options, and breakfast was plentiful. The staff were attentive and helpful. We loved this hotel and can't wait to return!

There’s plenty of space in the gardens to sit outside the room, and we found a shaded spot with room to spare in the afternoon. You may need to hunt around for a table and chairs, and some are broken. The rooms have no terraces, no sea views, and you can't hear the waves. They were very clean and comfortable, though in room 4 some paint had chipped off the wall. The hotel is relaxed, with a good restaurant and enough variety for our four-night stay. It's across a quiet road from a small beach. The French evacuation notices weren't available in other languages at reception, and there were no signs showing where to assemble, which seems like basic safety information. Today the public toilet also had no soap or towels, not good for a busy restaurant.
