Chateau Royal Beach Resort and Spa

We had a peaceful, beautiful view, and our room was upgraded to a one-bedroom. I stayed at the Chateau Royal for two nights in late December 2025, and the hotel was perfect. It was clean, with helpful, friendly staff. The spa was a pleasant, professional experience, and the pool was clean and not always busy. The gardens are lovely and deserve to be used more. We ate at the bar cafe twice. The food was fresh and service helpful, though the low chairs and tables made dinner a little difficult to eat. I’ll certainly be back. Thank you!

The hotel looks like a resort but doesn’t really have resort-style facilities, and it felt expensive for what you get. We enjoyed our stay, though. We’d paid for the most expensive room expecting an uninterrupted ocean view, but instead looked at the back of the hotel next door. It also seemed pretty empty for that time of year.

It’s a modern, spacious hotel, though a little far from town, as expected. Book spa treatments or massages ahead of time because they get busy quickly. Alize at the spa was so lovely and helpful, and made the experience special. Thanks for making my birthday weekend such a great one :)

There’s easy access to the beach and a good-sized pool, plus a short walk to shops. You’ll need to drive to a large supermarket. The sunset views are good. Staff are friendly when you approach them. My only issue was that the king-size bed wasn’t positioned with the accessible ensuite.
