Fountain Blu Hotel

A lovely place to visit and get served. The staff are respectful, attentive to details, and mindful of time.

I cut my stay down to one night instead of the three I’d planned, even though I booked more than three weeks ahead. The AC and fridge in the first room weren’t cooling properly, so I was moved, but the new room was barely any different. The rooms were roomy, cozy, and convenient for two people, but the gloomy decor didn’t help. There were frequent power cuts and restoration was delayed. The room also lacked basic things like teacups and saucers, cutlery, a tea kettle, and a foot mat. These were only brought after I asked, and not willingly. There were mold streaks in the bathroom, which gave a poor impression of the hotel’s hygiene and upkeep. Even the complimentary breakfast came without a tray and with a plastic fork. The worst part was the subpar customer service and disregard for basic hospitality. Front desk and room service employees were curt, discourteous, evasive about responsibility, and unapologetic when I checked out. I wouldn’t recommend it despite the good location.

I had to leave after one night instead of staying for three because of the problems in my room. Some of the amenities were broken, and when I asked to move, the staff’s response was unacceptable. They seemed unresponsive and showed little initiative. It was a terrible experience, I didn’t get value for my money, and I wouldn’t recommend the hotel.

The guards had cleaned my car overnight, and when I woke up I found a crack in the windshield. Maybe it happened by accident while they were cleaning, but they could have been honest about it. That dishonest act spoiled what had otherwise been a good experience.
