The pool and its bar and restaurant are new, but the main hotel looks run down. It’s a striking mismatch. The toilets are dilapidated too, and the hotel doors are just ordinary wooden ones with no security.

The food is the only thing I’d say is OK for the price. The rooms have low-quality accessories, and the staff service is irritating. The hotel’s one real advantage is its central location, with easy access to all kinds of transport. It works against your comfort, so please avoid it.

Afr Hotel is a good fit for a business trip to Abuja. It’s centrally located and peaceful, and you can conveniently hold business meetings in the VIP lounge by the pool. The staff were respectful and professional.

The rooms are average and service is fair, though the building is old. The location is very convenient.

The staff are lovely and welcoming, but maintenance is below average, especially in the royal room. The handwashing setup isn’t great, the AC doesn’t cool much, the wardrobe was broken, and the TV was old. The hotel service is more or less okay.
