Agete Hotel

It was quiet there, and the price was lower than at other hotels in the same class.

The bedsheets were old, and the thin foam mattress left my back aching. The rooms smelled awful and looked horrible, and they kept moving me from one room to another. Either the AC or the water heater wasn't working. Service and customer care were both poor. One of the worst hotels I've stayed in.

The room smelled damp, some of the walls were in bad shape, and neither of the two generators was working while they were being serviced. The service was bad, really everything about the place felt terrible. At reception I met a short, heavyset lady chewing gum who was very rude and didn't seem to care about anyone's wellbeing. If you come here, you're on your own. This place feels cursed, swear. I'm disgusted, and I would never come back. I wouldn't wish this place on my enemies, let alone give it a star or call it a hotel.

The location and facilities seemed nice, but management and maintenance were very poor. I cut my stay short because my rooms weren't properly cleaned, there were mosquitoes and other insects, the bedding was dirty, and a mouldy wall let rain come into my room. The TV picture wasn't clear, the power sometimes went off for up to two hours, the toilet had no light, and the tap head was broken. They moved me to another room, but that came with a new set of problems. I started getting rashes all over, possibly from insect bites or a reaction to the sheets, so I had to get out. A horrible stay, and I wouldn't recommend the hotel. It badly needs serious work inside.
