The room had some bugs you could see, and the unpaved road leading here was in bad shape. Aside from that, my stay was pleasant. The power was constant, the AC ran through the night, and a solid standing fan helped before it came on. For the price, it was okay.

The place is average for a hangout. I came because the pool felt private, but it seems more people have found it and lately there are too many users. The food is decent and the drinks are cold, though drinks cost about 25% more than at nearby bars. Food is over twice as expensive as at similar spots. Service needs work: paying for food can be a struggle because the servers are lackadaisical, and the food can take over an hour to arrive. The light-skinned receptionist for the kitchen and restaurant was extremely rude and ill-tempered. I didn’t have an issue with her because I went out of my way to avoid getting pulled into her negativity.

The room was clean and nicely arranged, and I had a nice time. I’d gladly visit again. The workers need to take their jobs more seriously, especially the dining attendants, and the male staff should improve their attitude and how they deal with guests.

The hotel is close to the airport, which is handy if you’re flying out of Abuja, and the price is reasonable. The rooms are spacious and nicely decorated, with clean, roomy bathrooms. It’s neat, clean and classy, one of the closest things to a perfect hotel I’ve stayed in around here.
