Amso International Hotel

The place had gone downhill, and the peeling walls and brown-looking sheets and towels were hard to ignore, even though they said everything was washed. Sometimes the water looked dirty and seemed to need treatment. During power cuts, they only turned on the generator around 6 or 7 in the evening. Later update: they replaced the linens with new white sheets and towels, and fixed the water problems.

I'd only come back if I had no other option. The parking is ample, and some rooms are spacious with balconies that suit smokers, but the place badly needs an upgrade and better finishing. For what it offers, the price is too high. It's an okay hotel, but I wouldn't recommend it.

The setting and location are really good, but after more than ten visits, I still find the customer service poor, about 2/10. They need to maintain the place and improve how they treat customers. Food orders also take far too long, sometimes over an hour and a half.

The rooms are roomy, with balconies that offer very good views, and there's a steady supply of water and electricity. Staff were courteous. The hotel has 17 rooms, all with free WiFi and flat-screen TVs with satellite channels. There's also a restaurant, bar/lounge, and a safe at reception. Refrigerators, room service, and desks are available in the rooms, and continental breakfast is served each morning for a fee.
