The pool and surrounding area are very clean. The environment is peaceful, and the waiters are nice.

It’s a peaceful place for a Saturday morning swim after an early run or hike. The pool opens to the public at 8:30pm, and a session costs 1000 naira (about $3). You can use it without being a hotel guest, and the poolside staff are courteous. Beer and barbecue can be ordered at the bar before swimming, ready for you when you finish. Towels are clean, and the water is clear, blue, and clean. Children aren’t allowed in the pool, and there are no lifeguards, so swimmers are there at their own risk. I recommend it.

The location is perfect and the staff are nice, but the pool was dirty. The other parts of the apartment were clean, and the rooms were okay, though a bit small. Prices are relatively reasonable. There isn’t enough parking, so you may have to park outside, and there’s no wheelchair entrance.

Barcelona Apartments is furnished well and has services and amenities including a pool, 24-hour power, security, constant water, and air conditioning. It’s a living quarters a few metres from Barcelona Hotels, near the INEC office on Blyntyre Street.
