We checked in late last night and were charged more than the online price. We agreed to stay, but asked to pay in the morning since we were tired and wanted to switch off after the day. At 8.30, not long after I’d woken up, the phone rang asking us to pay. We said we’d settle the bill before checkout. Ten minutes later it rang again, and I didn’t answer because it was making us feel bad. Did they think we wouldn’t pay because we’re tourists? We were paying for a service, and being told to pay before checkout was poor customer service. We’d planned to stay another night, but changed our minds because of how they made us feel. Leaving was delayed too: a car blocked our bikes, and we waited nearly two hours for the woman to move it. Now we’re late for our meeting and have to go all day without food. The listing said breakfast was provided, but we were told it wasn’t. Very poor customer service. I wouldn’t recommend this place at all.

Just okay, as I said. It’s affordable for a night or two in wuse2, with basic room amenities, a hot water shower, one or two TV channels, and working AC. But the lights, meaning the generator, went out in the middle of the night, which wasn’t cool. No complimentary breakfast, and parking is limited.

The staff are well mannered, and every room is unique, well cared for, beautiful, and cozy. The interior is top notch, the ACs are powerful, and the electricity stayed on. Wi-Fi is included, and there’s a strict no smoking rule. It’s a beautiful, exquisite, serene, and quiet place. Definitely going back 💃🏼💃🏼

The kitchen is great and offers healthy food. Our stay at the Boardwalk Hotel was pleasant and comfortable, with clean, spacious rooms and very friendly, supportive staff. A great experience, and we’d come back next time we’re in Abuja.

The air conditioner is superb. The rooms are good, and the electricity is adequate, with a standby generator.
