The food was delicious, and the drinks were top notch. They had live music too, which really suited the night out atmosphere, whether with friends or for a romantic dinner. I visited a few months ago and found the staff incredibly friendly. Had a wonderful time and would recommend it for a night out.

Solar battery backup is a big plus here. When city power goes out, Casalinda doesn’t fill the place with diesel smoke, and they have plenty of excellent battery powered fans. Friday salsa night is great, the staff are wonderful, the food is very good, and there’s a terrific grocery store close by. I also liked the artwork in all the hallways. The pool is usually very clean. The gym, though, is small, dirty, and mostly trashed. It does have a decent set of barbells and a quite good but aged cable machine, greenish bronze in my attached photo. There was a masseuse on staff.

The bed was simply awful. On the plus side, the decor and finishing look great, the staff are courteous and helpful, and the food is good, especially the pasta. The spa, gym, and pool look decent, and the WiFi was fast. Just know the password works for one device, so you have to ask if you want to connect more.

There’s lovely artwork around the hotel, and the receptionists are friendly and available when you have questions or feedback. The place itself and the surrounding area are both quiet, which made it a cozy spot to get some well deserved rest. I’ll spend time there again on my next visit.

The complimentary breakfast was awesome, and the atmosphere felt calming with great customer service. There are fun events every day, including karaoke, salsa, and a live band. The honeymoon suite is magnificent. The decor has a sort of Italian style, though the pool wasn’t working when I was there.
