I stayed there twice. On my first visit, the internet was down for all four nights. Each time I called the front desk, they said someone was coming to fix it, but nobody showed up. Even getting water took about an hour and a half after calling. The AC was old, barely cooled the room, and didn’t have a remote. Overall, the experience was bad.

The food was great, and I really liked the classy Victorian-era feel of the place. I was there for a workshop.
The location near Jabi Lake is good, and the staff were very friendly. The conference rooms and halls looked elegant, and the food was tasty.
The staff were helpful and courteous, and I enjoyed the food and suya. Still, I felt we were overcharged, and I won’t be coming back. The old glamour stopped at reception: our room on the third level was reached through a damp-smelling corridor with wet, stained carpets. The room itself was dated, the shower pressure was almost nonexistent, and we had to use a bucket and kettle to get warm water for bathing. There was no complimentary water, we had to ask for towels, and the ones we got were worn out. Most of the electrical sockets didn’t work. We stayed a couple of nights for a friend’s party, and it was one of my worst stays in this city.
For what I paid, I expected better. The AC kept cutting out, and there was no water heater in the bathroom, so I couldn’t bathe with warm water.
