The staff are receptive, the location is good, and it’s quiet. That’s about where the positives end. The rooms are decent, though old-fashioned, with Gothic-looking carpets and a huge manual AC controlled by knobs that runs like a diesel generator. The amenities are very dated. You get a new Wi-Fi password daily even on a longer stay, breakfast has about three options, and the bar has nothing fun. There’s an old Sony Bravia showing sports from 2020 in 2025. They’re trying to upgrade, so hopefully they do a better job.

The staff were the one bright spot, very courteous. The rooms are spacious, but the washroom tap doesn’t work and the water pressure is so low that filling one bucket takes 20 minutes. Hot water is out of the question. Breakfast is just bread and jam, instant Maggi noodles with an omelette made to order, and tea or coffee. No cut fruit, nothing else. Wi-Fi barely works, maybe late at night or early in the morning.

I didn’t see the rooms, but the hotel has an antique, classical feel. It could use a rethink and remodel to bring it up to modern, contemporary hospitality standards.
