It’s a large, white hotel, and the stay comes at an upscale price. The secured parking and humble security staff made a good impression, as did the smiling receptionist and the escort to my room. The room was neatly arranged, and attendants responded well when I called for service. It has the amenities and comforts you’d need. Worth trying once, if you’re willing to pay for it.

The facilities are run down. Water drips from the bathroom in the room above into the one below. I’ve never seen such a chaotic mess in Abuja. The hotel is currently under AMCON lock and key.

There’s a restaurant, bar and indoor pool, and the hotel has Wi-Fi in designated areas. Chesbury hotel is in Zone 4, very close to carlcare service center. It’s in the heart of town, near the National mosque, Federal Secretariat, National hospital and National assembly.

It’s an old hotel that needs renovation. The price is decent for an average guest, but the building needs modern furniture and electronics.

The building looks ridiculously old-fashioned, even though it’s a nice place. They need to renovate and modernize the whole thing.
