City Transit Inn

I stayed in ROOM NO 380 at Glamour Park Hotel, Utako, from Monday the 9th of December, 2024 to Sunday, 22nd December, 2024. The air conditioner never worked, and the bathroom bucket was broken or torn. The toilet bucket that holds water kept overflowing and disturbed my sleep. Getting hot water for the coffee I paid for was a major problem, and one of the plastic cups they used to serve it was leaking. I also noticed electrical shocks. I complained about all of these problems, but nothing was done. It was a very unpleasant stay.

The goat meat pepper soup was the bomb! The receptionists were nice, and the staff treated us fine. The facility was basic, as you’d expect at an affordable hotel. Power supply was very unreliable, so they switched to the generator often. It’s okay for a few days or even just a night, but there’s really nothing luxurious about it.

It’s a nice place to stay if you’re looking for an average hotel or guest inn within the average Nigerian man’s budget. There are more expensive options too, but you won’t be stranded if you visit. The ACs are good, and so are the rooms. Prices start as low as 7,000-10,000k. There are restaurants close by if you get hungry.

I spent 4 nights there and enjoyed my stay. It’s a cool, cheap, friendly place, though the cleaners were my one letdown. They seemed in such a rush that they practically didn’t clean anything.
